Video Call: World Cup Fever Continues

Frank Arnesen and Søren Lerby are back with another video call, where the World Cup is, of course, once again the main topic of conversation.

The two former national team stars praise the VAR decisions, which are now faster, and they are enthusiastic about the atmosphere that characterizes the tournament in North America. At the same time, they discuss the never-ending debate about sports and politics, and why a World Cup should, first and foremost, be a celebration for the fans.

They also take stock of the first surprises of the tournament. The U.S. has been a pleasant surprise, and Frank and Søren take a closer look at the Netherlands’ prospects, Portugal’s challenges, and the question of whether Cristiano Ronaldo should remain a sure bet for the starting lineup.

In addition, there’s Lamine Yamal’s immense talent, Mohamed Salah’s resurgence, and the players who are already making their mark on the tournament.

As always, there’s also time for a bit of Tour de France talk before Frank and Søren answer a listener’s question about Allan Simonsen.

Another round of World Cup fever, candid opinions, and great stories with Frank Arnesen and Søren Lerby. ⚽🎙️
