Video Call: Infantino, Wild Transfers, and Søren’s Golf Tournament

Søren Lerby has completed his final practice round in Cyprus, and now he’s heading to Denmark for the Danish Golf Championship Pro-Am in Kerteminde. After intensive training, the final preparations focus on the mental aspect before Søren takes to the course alongside Ruud Gullit, among others. Frank, of course, has both good advice and a few playful jabs ready ahead of the big golf day.

Frank and Søren then return to the situation surrounding FIFA and Gianni Infantino. Criticism is mounting, and they discuss UEFA’s options, a potential boycott, and the need for clear limits on how much power a single FIFA president should be allowed to have. They also offer their thoughts on the kind of person who should lead world soccer in the future.

Meanwhile, millions are flying off the table in the transfer market. Frank and Søren discuss the enormous sums being paid for young talents and the risks involved in signing players who haven’t yet proven themselves under pressure in Europe’s top leagues. They also look at Danish transfers and discuss the growing trend of players trying to force a club transfer—and where the line is drawn when they’re still under contract.

In the Superliga, they take a closer look at Brøndby’s promising start and the potential in the Vestegnen area, while AGF’s European prospects are also assessed.

Finally, there’s a listener question about “Re-Sepp-Ten.” Frank talks about his very special role during the recording—and reveals just how much (or how little) he and Søren actually earned from one of the biggest Danish national team hits of all time.

Another round of soccer talk, opinions, stories, and this time, a good dose of golf as well, with Frank Arnesen and Søren Lerby.
